Who is behind Broadplace?
With a strong passion to serve others, and a vision for making a difference in the lives of vulnerable children, Joyce Mombo dreamed to travel around the world and volunteer her time in benefit of orphans. Originally from Congo but lived most her adult life in Canada with her husband and two children, her desire to serve others started from when she was a teenager back in Congo. Growing up she always expressed the need to help and volunteer her time in benefit of others. I remember she said I used to save my pocket money to buy syringes and every time my church and I would go to the hospital we would donate them to the staff. Broadplace was born after Joyce’s visit to an orphanage in Benin west Africa and decided to commit herself to help African orphanages to strive in benefit of vulnerable children.
